Jaclyn is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals through individualised therapy which builds upon the client’s strengths. Jaclyn feels there is a great need for improving awareness around neurodiversity and mental health, especially within the primary and secondary school systems.

Jaclyn is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (First Class) at Adelaide University, along with a Bachelor of Laws, and was admitted to the bar as a solicitor in SA in 2019. Jaclyn continued her studies in 2020 towards a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology and redirected her career, graduating with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University.

Jaclyn Specialises in

Jaclyn has developed a high level of proficiency in conducting and validating assessments for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and mood disorders (i.e. anxiety, depression). Jaclyn’s assessment reports are structured to also include strategies which provide clients with practical pathways forward which assist to navigate their future and set them up for success.

Jaclyn’s therapy experience covers both one-on-one and group based therapy among young Children, Teens, and Young Adults, especially groups addressing:

More recently Jaclyn also has been trained in preparation of family based assessments as required in the family court space, and looks forward to expanding her expertise in this area of psychology in the future from both an assessment and therapeutic lens.

Jaclyn's Therapeutic Approach

Jaclyn is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals through individualised therapy which builds upon the client’s strengths. Jaclyn feels there is a great need for improving awareness around neurodiversity and mental health, especially within the primary and secondary school systems.

With experience in both forensic and clinical fields – especially with young people and their families- Jaclyn prefers a strength-based approach, personalised for each client and reinforced by support networks. 

Jaclyn has considerable experience with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), and mood disorders. She has extensive experience in administering, validating and interpreting a wide range of reliable, well established psychological assessment tools which provide the foundation for evidence-based interventions, and has written thousands of comprehensive, detailed reports to assist children in their schooling and beyond. 

Jaclyn believes that each person learns differently and to be able to reach their full potential, people need, with her help, to identify how they learn best. Most importantly, Jaclyn believes in lifelong learning and focusing on the positive
